MY STORY
WALMIBIKE was born from the passion for this sport of the founder,
Walter Milesi. He has always lived in the Brembana Valley, a land rich in nature and breathtaking true passion for wood, so he decides to combine his two passions, wood and the bicycle, for a new project. In 2019 the first wooden frame is born.
Continuous development leads today to a good product entirely handmade.
Everything starts from the craftsmanship, making a Nordic birch board a unique design element in each of its specimens. For the realization of each model, many hours are spent, all with manual machinery.
The definitive frame, brings great quality and is the result of the experience gained during the development of the previous prototypes.
Each product made will be UNIQUE, NUMBERED and PERSONAL, symbolof craftsmanship that characterizes it.
For the construction of these bicycles we use wood from the company WISAPLYWOOD with certificates regarding sustainability and respect for the environment, for a cleaner world.

-The FSC certification mark guarantees that the entire wood-paper supply chain certified for its standards derives from environmentally friendly, socially useful and economically sustainable forest management.
-PEFC - CoC (Program for Endorsement of Forest Certification - Chain of Custody) is a voluntary certification to guarantee the origin and traceability of products from sustainable forest management.
-DNV is a notified body for CE Marking. It certifies that the products bearing it possess the safety requirements established by the Community directives and required by the legislation. These products can circulate freely in EU countries.

NOTE INFORMATION
Each product is handcrafted, designed for play / display purposes. The bike is fully functional in all its parts, it has no certification, however the bicycles are tested personally, to prove
their reliability and functionality. Do it yourself tests have been carried out on the breaking load, showing an incredible resistance.
